AOL: 30k blogs.

Rick Robinson, vice president for community products at America Online, said his new company's blogging feature, AOL Journals, has about 30,000 registered users so far.

  • Blogs created by date
  • Blogs touched by their blogger by date
  • Blog posts by date
  • Unique visitors to weblogs
  • most popular posts on AOL
  • most popular blogs
  • Demographics of bloggers, over time (age, gender, location)
  • Frequency distributions for posting by time of day and day of week
Comment data we want reported:
  • Number of comments posted by date
  • Frequency distribution of number of comments per post, monthly
Syndication data we want reported:
  • Number of feeds updated by date
  • Number of feeds consumed by date
The model for this is LiveJournal's stats.txt feed.
