20% monthly growth at U-blog.

FRANCE: Loïc Meur reports a few year-end statistics for his French blogging service, Ublog:

• 3.2 million page views in December 2003
• 20% traffic growth per month
• 1000 new U-blog members per week
• 4 gigabytes of traffic daily

It's u-blog's linear growth that interests me. From where do the new users come? Are they abandoning Blogger for a French user interface? Or are they really first time bloggers? 20% month-over-month growth is strong in isolation; how are other French blog services doing?
